Margaret Denholm's Islay paintings
Last night I came across an interesting tweet with an Islay (and Jura) related painting. Of course Friday evenings are reserved for the Friday Islay picture, so after only retweeting it yesterday here it is on the blog with some more information and further links:

I followed the link to Margaret Denholm's website to learn more about her and see if she had any further Islay or Jura paintings. While living in the Central Belt Margaret spends a lot of time in Argyll and the West Coast, which of course includes Islay. Looking through her online galleries I found six more Islay (and Islay's neighbours) paintings:
- Loch Indaal and Paps of Jura (this is the painting from the tweet)
- Morning Light at Loch Indaal Lighthouse
- Loch Indaal Lighthouse
- Paps of Jura
- Summer in Gigha
- Kind of related as you pass it on the way to Islay: Inveraray…mists rolling in
I hope you like Margaret's work, may be there's even a Christmas present for one of you?
