Building Progress on Islay
Last Monday I wrote about a new start on Islay, about the work at the new hotel in Port Ellen getting under way. There has been some good progress during the last week, as this picture I received from Islay on Saturday shows:
Here's a closer view of the walls, I believe this is looking from Charlotte Street in the opposite direction to the first picture:
I will be on Islay again in just under two weeks from today, I wonder how far they will have progressed by then. Ground floor level? Higher? Lower? And how will it compare to the house they've just started building next to mine? Not much, if anything, seems to have happened there over the last few working days.
