Friday Islay Picture #147 - Walkers Watching Wildlife

Friday Islay Picture in stencil

Sorry it's so late again, I lost track of the time working on a video about the now gone Poplar trees in Aldermaston Wharf. It's been a fairly wet Good Friday in Aldermaston Wharf, from what I've seen it's been mostly nice on Islay today. Fingers crossed the weather holds on Islay, not only for the Easter weekend, but also for the Islay Walking Week starting next weekend. One of the reasons for the picture I picked for today:

Picture of two walkers looking out to sea with binoculars, standing above some low cliffs

I took this picture during WalkIslay 2008, on the walk from Gortantaoid to Bholsa, Rhuvaal and then Bunnahabhain. This is somewhere between Gortantaoid and Mala Bholsa, you can just make out Ardnave in the distance. The two walkers are regulars on the walking week, I hope to see them again this year.

As usual I will post the larger version (larger as in more than twice as big) on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning. Gives you an even better view of one of the great views we enjoyed during the walk.

That's all I have for now, have a great Easter weekend (assuming you're celebrating Easter or at least have some time off)!
