Panorama of Loch Gorm from Kilchoman, Islay
After the three distillery panoramas (Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg) in a row it was time for something almost completely different. From the south east coast we move to the north west of Islay, to Kilchoman, for a Quicktime VR panorama from Kilchoman over Loch Gorm and surrounding areas.

This is mainly farming country, you can see a number of farms in the panorama. Not to forget fishing on Loch Gorm. But there are also other things to be spotted in the panorama, like the Paps of Jura or the strange rock formation at Dun Bheolain.
Careful readers will have noticed the word ‘almost’, even this panorama isn't entirely without a distillery. While you can't see the distillery itself, it is possible to make out a chimney and parts of the roof of Rockside Farm, home to Kilchoman Distillery.
Now I'm off to work on the associated page for the travelogue, watch this blog for updates...
